The wedding industry is full of entrepreneurs. It's a space where you need to project your business as professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Over the course of several years I designed many small business identities. Most included a logo, website, stationery system and a couple print ads for magazine advertising.
As a young designer I was single minded in my design concepts. I liked what I liked and most of what I liked wasn't elegant. Designing for the wedding industry taught me a key lesson in being an identity designer. Know your customer's audience and how to appeal to them.
